Marks favorite basses are the '80's Alembic Elan, for rock and funk...........
...and the Bunny Brunel 5 string fretless for jazz and pop, shown 3rd from the left. For certain situations he may pull out the '72 blonde Fender P bass, or "Groove Machine".

Marks full rig consists of Twin Gallien-Krueger Amps--an RB1001

for Rock and Funk, and a vintage 200RB for Fretless and Jazz work,

a Yamaha EMX 5000 powerd mixer, and a rack with a Furman PL

PLUS series power conditioner, and a dual 15 band graphic equalizer

by Acoustic Research Technologies. The 1001RB is a 2-10" speaker

combo bi-amped with speak on cables to a 15" speaker in the bottom

cabinet. The amps, mixer, effects and wireless vocal microphone headset

are first run through the Furman Power Conditioner, the dual 15 band

graphic equalizer.

The Yamaha EMX 5000 power mixer houses 2-500 watt power

amplifiers per side for and extra 1000 watts of power to drive an

additional 4 JBL 15" speakers and 2 horns housed in 2 JRX 100

speaker columns. The mixer also houses 2 SPX Digital Effects

Processors for multiple effects combinations. For back up vocals,

Mark uses a Sure wireless UHF headset that will automatically

switch channels if interference is a problem.

Special thanks to the folks at Gallien Krueger and Digitron Electronics in Los Angeles--for helping me understand how to use all this stuff!!!
